Tatts to Improve its Monitoring Platform with Comtrade Gaming
In a move to enhance its monitoring capacities, Australian wagering and lotteries company, Tatts Group, has announced it will implement the G2S (Game to System) Host-side Protocol Stack from premier gaming industry technology provider, Comtrade Gaming.
With implementation in 2017, Comtrade Gaming’s software solution will become a technical addition to the monitoring platform of Tatts in Australia. The upgrade available via Comtrade Gaming’s sCore Connect product segment allows the operator’s existing central monitoring and game management systems to be efficiently upgraded.
“The protocol engine simplifies the integration of gaming machines with venue servers to assist operators and vendors optimise business intelligence, operational processes and player engagement,” stated Igor Rus, Director of Systems. “We are pleased to be associated with Tatts Group and their powerful benchmarking standards.”
Through Comtrade Gaming, Tatts will benefit from the integration of gaming machine communication over the G2S protocol, as well as consolidated data collection which allows for ticketing, cashless jackpots, enhanced bonusing and extended remote configuration, software downloads and options for media display. A personalised user interface is available through this management system.
“Monitoring gaming machines in highly regulated jurisdictions is extremely complex,” asserted Frank Makryllos, chief operating officer of gaming solutions at Tatts. “Venues in NSW can be confident in the implementation of new functionality and features through the joint implementation of Comtrade’s gaming technology solution.”
Comtrade has many years of experience as a technology provider in the gaming industry and has operated successfully under varying regulatory environments, making them a suitable choice for the highly regulated environment of gaming machines. Their unified data system allows for centralised management and greater efficiency in operations.
Comtrade Gaming will showcase their products at ICE Totally Gaming in London in February at booth N4 – 340.
