Sun Bets Signs Agreement with Metric Gaming
Sun Bets, the online gaming brand of UK newspaper The Sun which was launched in August in partnership with Australian operator, Tabcorp, has signed a price feed agreement with Las Vegas-based sports betting technology and software solutions provider, Metric Gaming.
The agreement will provide an end-to-end golf pricing solution with Metric providing pre-game prices for all Outright and Match markets on golfing events, as well as their full range of SuperLive markets for in-play propositions.
Via the SuperLive platform, players are able to bet on hole-by-hole markets within a golf game for instant gratification betting. The product has become popular for its mobile optimisation, as well as the fact that bets are settled immediately with real time credit to customer accounts.
Sun Bets is looking to provide a unique offering in the industry, combining the gambling expertise of Tabcorp with the media assets and significant customer base of News UK. This deal is a significant step in Sun Bets stated aim of achieving exceptional growth in 2017.
“As a newcomer to the marketplace we are focused on differentiation through technology,” announced Kevin Beard, sportsbook director for Sun Bets. “Metric Gaming provides innovative and exciting ways for our customers to engage with our sportsbook.”
Metric Gaming has been expanding within the UK market and this deal adds another client to their list. The company already has partnerships with large operators such as Amaya’s BetStars, Coral and Boylesports. Gamesys is another customer to whom the company supplies a full sportsbook platform.
“Sun Bets is a compelling new player in the UK online betting landscape and a very welcome addition to Metric’s growing network,” announced Conall McSorley, commercial director at Metric Gaming. “We are thrilled to count Sun Bets among Metric’s ambassadors.”
