Relax Gaming Awarded Romanian License
Malta-based casino platform provider, Relax Gaming, has been awarded a B2B supplier license by the gambling regulator in the newly regulated Romanian gaming market.
Under the terms of the license, Relax Gaming will be able to launch its casino games via its Silver Bullet platform, as well as supplying bingo and poker via its operating partners. Their Silver Bullet platform makes multi-channel game releases possible and it features a number of proprietary games, alongside content from independent software providers such as Felt, Fuga Gaming, Genesis Gaming, Push and Quickspin. The platform also provides operators with promotional features such as next generation free spins and feature triggers.
The Silver Bullet platform provides a simple and efficient integration process, as well as flexibility with API implementation and a modern back office with comprehensive player reporting and management.
“Moving into new regulated markets is a natural step for Relax and part of our growth strategy, announced Patrik Österåker, chief executive of Relax Gaming. “We are very pleased to have been granted a license in Romania, which is an attractive and growing market for us.”
“The license allows Relax to support our valued partners as they retain and grow their presence in this important jurisdiction.”
Licenses have also been awarded by the Romanian regulator to a number of other companies since the gambling legislation was changed in the country in 2015, opening up the market for licensed operators. IGT was awarded two Class II gaming licenses at the end of last month, Play ‘n Go was awarded a Class II license in June and also in June iSoftBet was awarded a license to produce and distribute gaming software. 888 launched their 888.ro website which went live in Romania on September 1.
