Playtech Adds Three Titles for Mecca Max Handheld Tablets
Playtech and Mecca Bingo have extended their content agreement which sees Playtech adding another three pokies games to the Mecca Max handheld tablets. The three additional games include Fortunate 5, Bounty of the Beanstalk and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire pokies games.
The games will be available for 12,000 handheld tablets at 87 bingo clubs across the UK. According to the terms of the agreement, additional games will be rolled out later in the year.
“The addition of a further two highly popular Playtech titles is a real endorsement of our omni-channel games and their success across all channels including the Mega Max handheld,” announced head of retail content for Playtech, Lee Harford.
“We have a great relationship with Mecca and are delighted with the impact our titles have had across all their channels in retail, online, mobile and the handheld devices.”
Fortunate 5 is a 5 reel, 15 payline pirate-themed pokies game with a second-chance re-spin feature and a free spins bonus round. Bounty of the Beanstalk is a 5 reel, 50 payline progressive jackpot game based on the children’s tale of Jack and the Beanstalk. It offers a pick-a-box style game and a free spins feature. Who Wants to Be a Millionaire is a branded pokies game based on the well-known television program which offers a 50:50 feature, ask the audience and a phone a friend feature.
“This strategically important project has gone from strength to strength since it began last year,” said Rod Runnals, head of slots projects at Mecca Bingo. “We can now provide a fantastic breadth and quality of content to our players who have really taken to the new games on the Mecca Max handhelds.”
