NetEnt Signs Licensing Agreement with PokerStars New Jersey
Leading casino software provider, Net Entertainment, has signed a licensing agreement with the Amaya-owned PokerStars in New Jersey. NetEnt will provide the online gaming brand with casino game content when they launch in the US later this month.
PokerStars will begin a soft launch period from Wednesday, March 16, in the state which will be followed by a full launch on March 21 and NetEnt will supply both their online and mobile casino games.
NetEnt has already signed partnership deals with a number of major operators in the state, including Borgata, Caesars Interactive Entertainment and Resorts, Golden Nugget and Tropicana. The company will apply for a transactional waiver from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement to allow it to launch with PokerStars. The company has applied for a full license and is awaiting approval.
NetEnt already supplies casino content to Amaya’s European-facing operations, as well as to the Resorts Casino Hotel, the New Jersey online operation of Amaya’s Atlantic City land-based partner.
