NetBet and Playtech Extend License Agreement Just in Time for Jackpot Win
Just days after casino software provider, Playtech, and NetBet Casino extended their licensing deal, a lucky player hit a $4 million progressive jackpot payout on Playtech’s popular Gold Rally pokie game while playing at the casino.
The player, “Tokoshi”, who has chosen to remain anonymous, hit the mega jackpot on December 13, 2015, ensuring he celebrated the holiday season in style. This win is the first at NetBet Casino on the Playtech progressive jackpot network and it comes just six months after NetBet Casino launched their exclusive Playtech Vegas tab.
The licensing deal has been extended for six years until 2021 and includes Playtech casino content, poker games and poker side games.
“We’re delighted to be continuing our excellent relationship with NetBet, one of our most established partners and, that just days after signing the agreement, one of their players struck gold on one of our biggest progressive games,” commented Shimon Akad, Playtech’s Chief Operating Officer.
The NetBet brand offers punts on more than 400 different games and is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission.
“We’re delighted both with the agreement and for our winning jackpot player,” announced Alexandre Mangaud, marketing manager at NetBet. “It’s a massive win for us with the contract extension already reaping huge rewards.”
“We are extremely proud to have paid out this bumper jackpot to one of our players. Turning $16 into $4,047,097.43 with one spin is really remarkable and rounds out a year of incredible growth for our online casino.”
“We’re pleased to say our winning player was paid the full amount in less than 48 hours. What a Christmas they’ve just had!”
This was the second biggest win on Gold Rally in the history of the pokies game with the biggest win of $6,347,118 won in November 2013.
