Net Entertainment Launches Innovation Week 2016
Swedish casino software developer, Net Entertainment, has launched Innovation Week 2016, following the success of the project in previous years. Innovation Week will run for five consecutive days with the aim of focusing on innovation and development throughout that time.
The company uses this week as an opportunity to allow their employees to broaden their workplace horizons with many initiatives. Employees can take part in seminars and workshops or join health and fitness initiatives. The company has also introduced a concept known as NetEnt Den which has been successful in previous years. This year, the den will be reopened and will allow employees to pitch their ideas to CEO Per Eriksson and senior members of the board, in all areas from product ideas to customer support improvements.
NetEnt has taken the opportunity to invite Michael Dahlén, professor at the Stockholm School of Economics to give a presentation to staff on the importance of creativity and enjoying work in order to spark innovation.
“It’s important for innovative companies such as ours to take a step back from our projects and look at the overall picture of the company,” stressed Simon Hammon, chief product officer at NetEnt. “NetEnt encourages its employees to be creative, and this week we’ll be looking to bring those exciting new ideas to the fore, as well as having some fun along the way.”
Established in 1996, NetEnt is one of the oldest casino software providers still in the industry and it has proved its commitment to innovation throughout the years with its many new products, services and features that have been launched. They have won multiple awards in this area, testament to their dedication, including awards for innovation in mobile, digital gaming, slot provision and RNG casino software.
