Ladbrokes Extends Broadcasting Deal with SIS
Ladbrokes and Satellite Information Services (SIS) have extended their partnership for an additional four years to provide SIS with exclusive track and broadcasting rights for Ladbrokes two greyhound tracks.
SIS has had a relationship with Ladbrokes for 28 years and this deal will extend their partnership with Ladbrokes’ two greyhound tracks, Monmore and Crayford, until 2020. The SIS Greyhound Service coverage will be extended throughout the UK and Ireland and live greyhound racing will become more available via the SIS Stream service.
“We’ve been working with Ladbrokes for more than 28 years and we’re pleased to announce this partnership, which will ensure we take our long-standing relationship to well over three decades,” announced Paul Witten, commercial director at SIS.
“We will continue to deliver our high-quality reliable broadcast SIS Greyhound Services at Monmore and Crayford, while further developing our greyhound offering to include more products and growing online reach. We’re excited for the opportunities ahead for SIS, Ladbrokes and the wider greyhound industry.”
SIS delivers live racing via multiple channels, as well as data and commentary from greyhound tracks and racecourses throughout the UK, Ireland and Internationally.
Head of stadia for Ladbrokes, Richard Brankley, expressed his company’s satisfaction with the extension of their partnership with SIS, saying: “We’re pleased to be extending our partnership with SIS at Monmore and Crayford and working closely to promote greyhound racing within LBOs and to online customers.”
“Developing the greyhound offering is a high priority for us and, while schedules will remain the same in the short-term, we’re excited for the opportunities that SIS can deliver to ensure that our hugely popular tracks continue to offer industry-leading prize money, along with the security of a long-term deal for trainers and owners.”
