Ladbrokes Becomes Jersey Sponsor of Titans Gold Coast
Ladbrokes Australia will remain the jersey sponsor of the Queensland-based rugby league club, the Gold Coast Titans, after extending their initial one year partnership for a further two years.
Ladbrokes said the deal reaffirmed their commitment not only to the Titans and the Australian National Rugby League (NRL), but to Queensland sport in general.
“We are a proud Queensland-based company and, while we support many clubs across the country, we make sure first and foremost we are on board with those in our own backyard,” stated Jason Kibsgaard, chief marketing officer at Ladbrokes.
Ladbrokes initially became a platinum sponsor of the Titans for the 2016 NRL season and following a successful year for both sides, the companies decided to extend for a further two seasons.
Under the terms of the new agreement, Ladbrokes’ iconic red logo will appear on the lower back of the Titan’s team shirts. In addition, their advertising will appear across the club’s Cbus Super Stadium in Robina as well as via digital platforms as the club begins their 2017 campaign for the Telstra Premiership.
“We are thrilled to have Ladbrokes extend its partnership with the Titans for a further two years,” announced Graham Annesley, chief executive of the Titans. “Ladbrokes is a very recognisable brand in the Australian market and we look forward to working closely with them to further strengthen the business and community objectives of both organisations.”
The Titans are the newest of the sixteen clubs in the Australian National Rugby League, having joined in March 2007. Improving both on and off field, they have high hopes for the upcoming 2017 season. This sponsorship deal with such a prominent online bookmaker is an important step for the club as they look to the future.
