Genesis and Relax Gaming Expand their Partnership
Software providers, Genesis Gaming and Relax Gaming, have confirmed an expansion of their strategic partnership which was originally signed in 2013. Through the expansion of their distribution strategy, the companies will allow more operators to benefits from their products and services.
The success of their original distribution partnership, which saw them supplying video pokie content to Unibet with more than nine games launched to the site to date, has spurred this new deal.
“Relax has a very robust and flexible platform that makes bringing mobile video slots to market fast and easy for us,” commented Geoffrey Hansen, managing director at Genesis. “Our companies are able to collaborate and deliver games very quickly all the way through certification and launch with operators.”
Two new operators, ComeOn and VideoSlots and have partnered with the software providers for the new service and the games will launch simultaneously for Flash and HTML5 at the sites. Genesis is currently pursuing more operators to partner with. They plan to launch their HTML5 games for desktop and mobile simultaneously later this year.
The first game release for Unibet, ComeOn and Video Slots casinos will be Jason’s Quest, a new pokie game that Genesis showcased privately for operators at ICE last week.
Jason’s Quest is a multi-level video pokie game based on Jason and the Argonauts from the Greek legend. It is a 5 reel, 25 payline HTML5 game with multiple levels available due to Genesis’ Graduated Features. The game includes the Cyclops level with free spins and multipliers, followed by the Hydra Attack feature with its pick me game and finally the Skeleton Army feature with its free spins. The game is due for launch in April on Relax and Quickfire platforms.
