BetGames.tv Granted UK Gaming License
Lithuanian-based supplier of live video-streamed casino games, BetGames.tv, has been granted a license by the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC). The remote gambling software license will allow BetGames.tv to provide its live games to the UK gaming market.
Approval by the UKGC means that the owner of the BetGames.tv brand, TV Zaidimai Ltd, fully complies with the Gambling Act 2005, allowing it to supply games to operators that service the UK market.
“I strongly believe the granting of this license further strengthens our reputation,” announced Aiste Garneviciene, chief operating officer of BetGames.tv. “We’re very delighted to be officially licensed by the UKGC. It’s a new era with high standards and expectations. By all means we are ready to start supplying our services and Live Games content to the UK facing operators. This is a very important market as it’s the cradle of some well known brands in the industry. This license will allow us to build further growth.”
BetGames.tv has been expanding since its establishment in 2012 and it is now a supplier of live casino games to operators in Lithuania, Italy, The Netherlands, Russia and Albania. It specialises in supplying live casino game content to operators with land-based, online and mobile gaming options.
The games aim to combine traditional betting with lotteries and popular table games. According to Ms Garneviciene, the game design allows players to enjoy the games without a deep understanding of the rules or expert skills in the games. Players in the UK will now be able to enjoy their wide selection of titles, including baccarat, poker, Wheel of Fortune, Lucky 7 and Lucky 5. A new game, War of Bets, is expected to be launched soon.
